Workshop terms of sale
Version 1.0, effective 12 November 2026.
Please read clauses 9 and 10 carefully. They limit what Tenlever is responsible for, and ask you to take responsibility for how you use AI tools in your business.
1. About these terms 1.1 These terms apply when you book a seat on a Tenlever live online workshop. They are a contract between you and Tenlever (Pty) Ltd ("Tenlever", "we", "us"). Our details are in clause 14. 1.2 Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (ECT Act) or any other law. If anything here conflicts with those rights, the law wins. 1.3 You must be 18 or older to book. If you book for someone else, such as a staff member, you confirm you have their permission to give us their details.
2. What you are buying 2.1 A seat for one person on a live, online workshop of about 3 hours (including a break), on the date and time shown at booking, plus the take-home pack described on the workshop page. 2.2 Each workshop runs for 10 to 15 learners. Each seat is for one named person. 2.3 You need a laptop or desktop computer, a stable internet connection, a Google account and a free account with ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. We email a setup checklist after you book. Those tools are run by other companies, under their own terms; see clause 9.3.
3. Price and payment 3.1 The price is shown on the workshop page at the time you book, in South African Rand, and is the full amount you pay: we add no booking or card fees. Tenlever is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. 3.2 The price for each workshop is shown on its booking page when bookings open. Founding seats are not held until paid. 3.3 You pay online through Paystack by card or EFT. Your booking is only confirmed once payment is received. 3.4 If you need an invoice in your business's name, add the details at checkout or email us.
4. Confirmation and your records 4.1 Before you pay, you can review your order, correct any mistakes and cancel the order. 4.2 After payment we email you a confirmation with your booking reference, the workshop date and time, the amount paid and a link to these terms. Please keep it. We send the joining link at least 48 hours before the workshop. 4.3 If you do not receive a confirmation within one business day, email us. 4.4 Payments are handled on Paystack's secure page. We never see or store your full card details. Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information.
5. Cooling-off (ECT Act s44) 5.1 The ECT Act gives buyers of services online the right to cancel without reason and without penalty within 7 days after booking, with a full refund within 30 days. The Act excludes some bookings, including leisure services booked for a specific date, and services that have started with your agreement within the 7 days. 5.2 Whether a dated training workshop is excluded is not settled. So we do not rely on the exclusion. If you cancel within 7 days of booking, and the workshop has not yet started, we refund you in full, even if this is less than 48 hours before the workshop.
6. Cancelling, transfers and refunds 6.1 If you cancel 48 hours or more before the start time: full refund. 6.2 If you cancel less than 48 hours before the start time (and clause 5.2 does not apply): we cannot normally fill your seat at that notice, so instead of a refund you may (a) move your seat, once, to a later date of the same workshop within 6 months, or (b) send someone else in your place at no charge, if you tell us their name and email before the start. 6.3 If you do not attend without telling us: no refund. We will offer you one seat on a later date if space allows. 6.4 Death or hospitalisation: if you cannot attend because the person booked has died or been admitted to hospital, we refund in full, whatever the notice (CPA s17(5)). 6.5 If we cancel or reschedule, for any reason, including fewer than 10 learners booking: you choose between a full refund or a seat on the new date. We will tell you at least 72 hours before the start time where we can. 6.6 If the session fails because of a problem on our side (for example, our facilitator's connection drops for a significant part of the session), we will offer you a place on a later session or a refund of a fair part, or all of it where the session could not go ahead, of the price. 6.7 If we sell more seats than we have: you get a full refund, plus interest at the prescribed rate, and any further rights the CPA s47 gives you. 6.8 How to cancel: email [email protected] with your booking reference. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 business days and in any event within 30 days of cancellation.
7. Recording and conduct 7.1 Workshops are not recorded. If that ever changes for a particular workshop, we will tell you in writing before you book. 7.2 Please do not record, screenshot or share other learners' faces, names or contributions. 7.3 In the exercises, use the sample enquiries we provide or real enquiries with all personal details removed. Do not share your clients' personal information in the session. 7.4 We may remove anyone who is abusive or disrupts the session. If we do, we will refund the unused part of the price unless the behaviour was serious.
8. Workshop materials 8.1 The take-home pack and prompt templates are for your own use and your own business, including your staff. Please do not resell them or publish them as your own. 8.2 What you build in the workshop (your prompts, sheets and workflows) belongs to you.
9. No guaranteed results (please read) 9.1 We teach practical skills and show you how to measure time saved. We do not promise any particular result, number of hours saved, income or business outcome. Results depend on your business and how you use what you learn. Any target, such as hours saved per week, is one you set for yourself. 9.2 AI tools can make mistakes. They can produce wrong facts, wrong figures or unsuitable wording. You must check AI-generated content before you send or rely on it. The workshop teaches you to do this. 9.3 The AI and Google tools used are run by other companies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability, changes, pricing or how they handle information you put into them. 9.4 You remain responsible for your own business's compliance with POPIA and other laws when you use AI tools with client information after the workshop.
10. Our liability (please read) 10.1 We will provide the workshop with reasonable care and skill. 10.2 To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about a workshop is limited to the amount you paid for that workshop. 10.3 We are not liable for loss that arises from (a) how you use AI tools or what you send using them, (b) the failure or changes of third-party tools, or (c) your own equipment or internet connection. 10.4 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for gross negligence, fraud, or anything else for which the law does not allow liability to be limited, and nothing limits your rights under the CPA.
11. Changes 11.1 We may make small changes to the programme to improve it. If we make a significant change to the date, length or content after you book, you may cancel for a full refund. 11.2 The version of these terms in force when you book applies to your booking.
12. Questions and complaints 12.1 Email [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 10 business days. 12.2 If you are not satisfied, you may refer your complaint to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (www.cgso.org.za) or the National Consumer Commission (www.thencc.org.za). For privacy complaints, see our Privacy Notice.
13. Governing law 13.1 These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. You may bring a claim in any South African court that has jurisdiction, including the Magistrates' Court.
